Tom MacPherson began painting along side his perfectionist grandfather at the age of 12. It was with his grandfather that Tom learned that good prep work was 90% of a good paint job. Tom began painting on weekends and nights during his High School and College years. Years of practice has given Tom skills and precision in painting.

Tom began branching out to decorative and faux painting 20 years ago. He has studied with various instructors and has learned wall finishing techniques, Venetian Plaster (both lime based and synthetic), Furniture Finishes, Stenciling, Gilding and now branching off to study Mural painting. He has been doing both the decorative painting and plaster work full time for the last 6 years and has a vast knowledge of both products and techniques to achieve specialty finishes.

Tom is originally from Seattle, WA and has relocated to Palm Desert, CA. The relocation happened during a traveling project to Palm Desert when a Northwest client asked Tom to do a job in California. The weather, the wide open color palette and beautiful homes has convinced me that I have found my place.
